Hospital for Special Surgery
Group PMX is currently providing management services to the Hospital for Special Surgery. Our Staff responsibilities at HSS are twofold. Namely, we act as the Owner’s Representative yet we are also an extension of the Hospital itself.
Our project management scope begins with the coordination of all work with facility; starting with design of architectural and base building infrastructure through the construction phase. This is imperative as all projects impact the essential systems of an active facility. We also manage the procurement of equipment; assuring integration of both the equipment and infrastructure for information services, telemetry, nurse call and electronic medical records.
Group PMX provides a turn-key approach to every project. Managing all aspects from concept to completion, we understand the value of the user group’s participation in such details as the design and layout of patient care areas as well as collaborating with the end users to maximize the workflow. Attention to such particulars, while managing the budget and schedule during this process, allows Group PMX to maximize the facilities return on its capital investments.
Handling the expansion and/or renovation of general exam spaces and administrative spaces are part of Group PMX responsibilities.
As part of the hospital’s long term capital plan, the ICU at HSS will add critical care services to the facility.
