Bank of America Headquarters Relocation

Group PMX’s partner, Michael Giaramita, was retained by BOA and their project team (JLL and Richard Hoffman & Associates) to provide move management master scheduling, restoration, decommissioning, and program confirmation. This work was needed to consolidate and relocate over 3,000 employees from four locations throughout NYC (9 West 57th Street, 40 West 57th Street, 1633 Avenue of the Americas and 50 Rockefeller Center) into One Bryant Park (OBP).  The scope of work performed included the following:

  • Perform program confirmation (based on program information provided by BOA) with the end-users of OBP to confirm that the new space at OBP is adequate to meet their current headcount requirements.
  • Develop a baseline Critical Path Method (CPM) Master Schedule for submittal and approval.
  • Develop a decommissioning schedule for all currently occupied floors in all four locations.
  • In addition, we worked with the Project Team to develop a restoration schedule for all currently occupied floors in all four locations in accordance with lease requirements and as determined by the design consultants.

The scope of this move included scheduling and assisting in managing the relocation of 3,000+ employees, 14,000 crates, 3,000 dollies, and 463 elevator trips.
