To replace an existing overcrowded and non-code compliant facility, the newly updated and expanded Adult Emergency Department provides 42,000 square feet of clinical and administrative space. Constructed in five phases, the new ED includes areas for triage, Rapid Medical Evaluation, trauma, acute care, treat-and-release, patient rooms, stretcher bays, staff lounge, locker rooms, support space, and mechanical rooms. Group PMX managed the project from design through construction.
