The RGEC project involved converting an existing 500 square foot holding room into a procedure room. The fit out included new casework and additional plumbing (CO2), power, and data. All construction took place while the vivarium remained active and was not shut down at any point during construction. As the vivarium is an active barrier facility, it demanded strict site safety and cleanliness procedures, including full gowning of all personnel and sterilization of all tools and materials.
