Estimating Services for 70+ Stations
Group PMX was retained by HDR to provide cost estimating services as part of a task order (CM-1546 TO#10) for feasibility design services with the MTA New York City Transit (NYCT).  As part of HDR’s design team, Group PMX prepared conceptual budget estimates for 71 stations through collaboration with the design team and analysis of conceptual designs.

Focused on ADA Compliance and Accessibility
The NYCT system has 472 stations throughout New York City, plus 22 stations on the Staten Island Railway (SIR). These include subway, elevated, open cut, embankment, and viaduct transit structures. A system-wide accessibility analysis was conducted to assess existing conditions at various stations and develop conceptual or feasibility plans for making each station accessible and ADA-compliant. The study’s purpose was to aid in planning, prioritizing, and effective budget investment in the ADA program planned by the NYCT.
