Group PMX was retained by HDR to provide cost estimating services as part of a task order (CM-1546) for feasibility design services with MTA/New York City Transit.
The NYC Transit (NYCT) system has a total of 472 passenger stations throughout New York City plus 22 stations on the Staten Island Railway. These include subway, elevated, open cut, embankment and viaduct transit structures. NYCT has initiated a system-wide accessibility analysis to assess existing conditions at various stations and develop conceptual/feasibility plans for making each station accessible and ADA compliant. The objective of this study is to aid in planning, prioritizing and effectively budgeting investment of the ADA program.
As part of HDR’s design team, Group PMX is preparing conceptual budget estimates for thirty-eight (38) stations through collaboration with the design team and analysis of conceptual designs. The 38 stations part of this package include:
