Q: Your career path shows impressive growth across multiple sectors. What motivated your transition to Group PMX, and how has your diverse background benefited your current role?

A: My journey to Group PMX was driven by a desire to apply my combined expertise in marketing, project management, and strategic planning within a dynamic consulting environment. Having worked across public, private, and non-profit sectors internationally, I was drawn to Group PMX’s multidisciplinary approach and collaborative culture.

My diverse background has been invaluable in helping me translate complex technical information into compelling marketing narratives and in managing multimillion-dollar proposals with cross-functional teams. The international perspective I gained working in Brazil and Canada has also enhanced my ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and develop comprehensive marketing strategies that resonate across different audiences.

Q: What do you consider the most challenging aspect of maintaining brand consistency while promoting growth?

A: The most challenging aspect is striking the perfect balance between honoring our established reputation while evolving to reflect our expanding capabilities and vision. During our corporate rebranding initiative, I focused on creating a cohesive identity that would showcase our expertise while remaining flexible enough to accommodate our growing service offerings.

This required close collaboration with leadership to ensure the refreshed brand authentically represented who we are as a company while positioning us strategically for future opportunities.

The key was developing brand guidelines that provided consistency across all touchpoints while allowing enough creative freedom to address the unique needs of different projects and sectors we serve.

Q: What leadership qualities have you found most essential in managing complex, deadline-driven proposal processes with diverse technical teams?

A: Clear communication is absolutely foundational when coordinating with project managers, engineers, architects, and technical specialists, each bringing their own specialized vocabulary and perspective. Beyond that, I’ve found that adaptability, prioritization, and emotional intelligence are crucial leadership qualities in our high-stakes proposal environment.

The ability to anticipate challenges, reallocate resources when necessary, and maintain team morale under pressure has been essential. I believe in leading with both empathy and accountability, creating space for the technical brilliance of our team to shine while ensuring we stay aligned with strategic objectives and timelines.
