Group PMX Celebrates Major Milestone as Mount Sinai South Nassau’s $113 Million Feil Family Pavilion Opens

Group PMX, serving as owner’s representative and project manager for Mount Sinai Health System, proudly announces the partial opening of the groundbreaking Feil Family Pavilion at Mount Sinai South Nassau. The first two floors of the 100,000-square-foot, $113 million facility are now welcoming patients, marking the hospital’s largest capital project to date.

This four-story addition represents the centerpiece of a nearly $400 million campus expansion that will transform healthcare delivery on Long Island’s South Shore. The pavilion will double the emergency department capacity and add nine state-of-the-art operating rooms plus a 40-bed critical care unit.

Since breaking ground in June 2021, this project demonstrates the hospital’s commitment to resilience and meeting growing healthcare demands following lessons learned from Superstorm Sandy. Full operationalization continues through 2026, positioning Mount Sinai South Nassau as a premier healthcare destination.
