Major Infrastructure Milestone Achieved at Westchester Medical Center

Group PMX proudly announces a pivotal achievement in Westchester Medical Center’s ambitious Critical Care Tower project. On October 18th, permanent emergency generators will be successfully activated, marking a crucial infrastructure upgrade that guarantees uninterrupted power for both existing hospital facilities and the revolutionary six-story “Tower to Heal.”

This milestone represents part of a comprehensive generator replacement initiative, upgrading from four aging units to three powerful 2500 KW systems. Scheduled for completion in Q4 2026, the 162,000-square-foot expansion will feature 128 private patient rooms supporting intensive care, medical-surgical needs, and step-down care, dramatically enhancing patient privacy and operational efficiency.
