LGA Terminal C&D Renovations

Delta’s overarching plan is to expand and consolidate operations at LaGuardia Airport, following their slot swap agreement with US Airways. They are executing this strategy by improving the facilities at both Terminals C and D, in anticipation of expected passenger growth from this new arrangement.

The core components of this program include reconfiguring the airfield to accommodate the Delta fleet along with replacing jet bridges. Moreover, both Terminal C and D are undergoing many updates. There is an installation of new in-line baggage screening systems, expansion of the security check points, as well as updating the public areas throughout both Terminals. Construction of a sterile connector joining Terminals C and D is underway and finally, Terminal C Sky Club is being renovated while Terminal D Sky Club will be redesigned.

Since joining the project, Group PMX has made immediate positive impact in many areas. Key call outs are: the development of a program budget comprising of approximately 28 individual projects, processing of $17 million in TSA reimbursement invoices as well as the review and negotiation of $13 million in change orders, netting 12% in savings to the client.
