Ibrahim Odeh, PhD
Dr. Odeh is the Founding Director of the Columbia University’s Global Leaders in Construction Management (GLCM) program, situated within the Department of Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics. His dynamic expertise spans strategy, academia, innovation, and entrepreneurship. With a notable presence in global forums, Dr. Odeh has served as an advisory committee member for the World Economic Forum’s “Future of Construction” project and contributed insights as an advisory board member for the Financial Times – Future of Construction Summit. He is sought after by leading construction firms for his unique perspectives, offering strategic guidance, growth strategies, and expert advice on the technological shifts reshaping the construction landscape.
Dr. Odeh’s academic path led him to earn a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, specializing in Construction Management, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Enhancing his expertise, he obtained an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota, USA. His educational journey commenced with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2000.
