Michael Kimura is the firm’s Director of Life Sciences and Healthcare, bringing over 19 years of experience optimizing project delivery processes in the New York metropolitan area. An expert in the construction of healthcare and life sciences facilities, he has overseen the comprehensive expansion and renovation of various medical, academic, and support facilities for some of the region’s largest healthcare systems.

In his position, Mike leads teams of program managers from project inception to completion, focusing on budget and schedule management and providing guidance on risk mitigation. He excels in assembling and managing collaborative teams to ensure operational excellence and transparent reporting, and his reputation for exceptional execution has led to leadership roles, even in projects where the firm initially played a supporting role.

Mike’s strong problem-solving skills are vital to his professional expertise, enabling him to handle complex field challenges effectively. His track record of consistently meeting or exceeding budget and schedule requirements has significantly impacted project success. In addition to his technical abilities, he also plays a vital role in maintaining positive relationships among important project stakeholders, such as clients, architects, engineers, construction managers, and tradespeople.

Earlier in his career, Mike worked on critical infrastructure improvement projects in Queens and Long Island. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Binghamton University, State University of New York, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York.
