NYCEDC Improves the Water Street Corridor
The Water Street Corridor Streetscape Improvement Project aims to transform a corridor of Lower Manhattan into a vibrant and pedestrian-friendly public space and catalyze future development. As an integral member of the Resident Engineer/Construction Management team, led by Techno Engineers and Construction Managers, Group PMX supports efforts to deliver this $18.9 million project for the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC).

NYCEDC worked closely with the NYC Department of Transportation, Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, Alliance for Downtown New York, Manhattan Community Board 1, and an experienced consultant team to identify, prioritize, and pursue public and private funding to implement the public realm improvements.

Group PMX Role on the Project
Group PMX focused on project controls and scheduling services, helping to navigate the intricacies involved in improving pedestrian and vehicular traffic from Whitehall Street to Fulton Street, including reconfiguring the western sidewalk to incorporate permanent sidewalk and landscape features.
